About Myself

Marcos

At 12 years old I started taking courses in photography and realized I had a passion for the art. On the weekends I would practice photographing at Fort Tryon Park in Inwood, New York and take photos of nature and people playing basketball. I later learned to develop the film in a dark room. I would wait for the film to dry up from the chemicals and then transfer the film to actual photos. To this day I can still remember the scent of different chemicals.

It wasn’t until adulthood that I decided to invest in a DSLR camera, take photography more seriously and learn how to take great shots. I took courses online and learned how to get away from point and shoot cameras and take full control of the camera in manual mode to create beautiful dimensions. Our vision is limited, but with a little imagination and the help of a camera a new magical world appears.

Photography is my passion and I am extremely dedicated to my craft. I love experimenting with my photography and learning new camera techniques. In my spare time I take online courses on different editing programs and editing tutorials and go on Photo walks for inspiration. Editing photos helps me to learn what to look for when taking a picture and how to elevate the overall look. Seeing how happy my clients are with the finished product is what fuels my passion.
